Another potty training day

Today was day 4, I've decided Tristan just isn't ready yet and there's no sense in pushing it so I'll put him back in a diaper tomorrow.

Ryland and Casie are doing great. Ry had one accident today, he was VERY busy playing, and he was very upset about it, so he realizes what is going on. But other than that he used the potty. And Cassie is, well, Cassie- she's so darn smart.

So I've decided that stay at home parents are amazing and I will bow and kiss their feet for what they do. I could NEVER do it. I've been home since last Friday, the 26th, with the kids and I'm about to go bonkers. I suppose it doesn't help that they R E F U S E to nap at home, so at the end of the day they are exhausted and I'm loosing my patience.
But my lord, I've never looked forward to going back to work, until this week. I love my kids, don't get me wrong. But when you stay home with them there are no "smoke" breaks or lunch breaks or any type of breaks. And conversing all day with toddlers, well.... it's not exactly an intellectual conversation.

Here are some pictures from this last week at home with the kiddos- they are from my cell phone so sorry for the quality

Yes, work is a great break!! I can't wait to be out of diapers, but I have a long ways to go! Good luck with the transition!

I'm from the cf.com site and hadn't visited yours for a while.

I can only imagine how the kids are keeping you hopping while you are home!

I am coveting your kitchen floor. I just LOVE it! I have a ceramic one that was 2 yrs "lived in" before we bought the house. No one ever sealed the grout and it is awful and hard and cold. Do you know the mfg of your floor? If our finances ever improve so that I can take a hammer to mine, yours is EXACTLY what I'd want!

Ricky asked who it was feeding the baby in the highchair... and I said I don't know probably Ry. Then I scrolled down (to the one after of him in the dress up clothes) and I was like "yep thats Ry!" Ricky and I are starting to wonder about Kaleb too, when he say "uh oh" his hands are off to the side and when he can he puts anything in a bag, basket or whatever he can find and puts it over his shoulder. It is pretty funny to laugh about but I am going to worry when it might come true!!! Anyways, I am going to try and go back to sleep. See you Monday.

Wtg on the potty training Julie! My guy is 2.5 and is just not ready which is frustrating but after trying to hard to get Sydney trained for months, then having her train herself in one day a couple months after I gave up, I have just accepted that my kids must work on their own timeframe (they are hardheaded like me!).

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I have been thinking about you and the kids. You have a lot of people out there who care.
